March 9th, 2010 Things are slowly picking up. I know you can't tell, because the site looks the same, doesn't it? Well, it won't in a couple weeks, fingers crossed. I've recruited some help, and eventually this is going to look like a grand imaginarium, a multi-facetted marvel. I know I've said that before, but this time I'm slighly less disingenuous. Artwise I am in the process of making new paintings for our upcoming album, following a theme of the hero's quest. I've discovered the wonders of Stay-Wet pallettes for acrylic paint, and have even experimented with a compound of mercury and potash in order to achieve metalic effects. I will publish my experiments later this month. August 10th, 2009 Well, that took me a little over one year to update my site. Not bad! i added my recent works, and fixed the prices, which have been wrong this entire time, so I'm feeling pretty chuffed. I stil need to fix the pop-up windows so that they're the correct size for the englarged pictures, and then all that's left is to make the site look good. Pretty awesome. I used to build websites freelance, way back in the last millenium, so I'm a bit out of practice, and all I can say is, it's really not a practice I feel an urge to stay on top of. Pretty boring stuff, really, not nearly as fun as drawing and painting. But that's not to take anything away from those of you who enjoy it. Code to your hearts content, I pray thee, tripingly on the tongue. I'll be over here, drawing. So I have these things to look forward to in an upcoming update: my latest and newest pieces, which are currently on the drawing board (these wil be in full color); and eventually, selections from my sketchbook archives, more for curiosity sake than for anything else. And eventually, if I were to have my way, and believe me I always get my way eventually, I'd like to post some tutorials and a biography, although the latter is purely a vanity, that doesn't really have much bearing upon the artwork. Until that time, I hope to see you all in my darkest of dreams. C.K. April 15, 2008 O.K. Deep Breaths. I am still working on this site. No, wait, that's not true. Start over. I just started working on this site again tonight. So far so good. I've opened up this web page in Dreamweaver, and I've typed this text. That's good progress. In the days/weeks to follow I hope to: add some color February 2008 Finally, I’m setting up a place where I can sell my prints online. In the future I will be placing new works for sale, and debuting the pieces I’ll be selling when our band goes out on tour. For now, I have for sale the continuing prints that I’ve sold on the road these last two years, as well as a couple new ones from my blue ball point pen series. C. Keely |
